  1. contd.. the scans did pick up bad files and I deleted following the steps but i'm still losing internet connection and the pop-up remains... could you explain the eset bit, when you say use ie to run it? cheers bud.:)
  2. contd. have installed the aforementioned and have followed steps 1-3 which seemed ok, pop-up is still here though and the internet connection has crashed once but is working right now. I cannot access ESET as the page is currently unavailable even though I've tried half a dozen times. Is this just temp? I also don't see systems restore after system tools, it doesn't seem to be listed.... cheers
  3. probs That's great but again I'm having connection problems (ie disconnecting every 30 seconds and asking me to redial via the dial-up connection box!) I wouldn't be able to download anything.... do you think this is related or just a wireless broadband problem? cheers again for your help...
  4. Have recently acquired wireless broadband and for 4 weeks this has been fine, while online after 2 hrs or so I have received this pop-up box: jpqs.exe - no disk there is no disk in the drive, please insert a disc into drive\device\harddisk1\dr2 it just so happened that since this message my internet connection has been poor since (disconnecting every minute) apart from right now! anyone familiar with this message and is it related to me being wireless? this is the best connection i've had since tuesday. thanks all!
