Hi, thanks for replying so quickly!!!! Its a laptop (sorry, should have mentioned that)... If its an overheating issue, is the best bet taking it to get fixed at PC world or somewhere similar? Hannah

Dear all Firstly, thanks for reading. I hope someone can help me. Basically, I have had my Toshiba for about one year now and recently, when I have been playing DVDs on Windows media player, my computer will completely shut off (no power at all). Timing varies, but is usually between 15 and 30 mins into the DVD. Once it has shut down completely, it will take about 5 mins before I get any power back at all. Once I have power back and try and turn back on, the computer will shut out at least 3 times consecutively whilst trying to reboot. I can no longer get through a movie, or even an episode of Friends (lol)! Can someone help me? I'm not too 'in the know' with technical terms.... so be gentle please!! Thanks again, Hannah
