Problem I have been having is trying to connect to the website www.familytreedna.com when trying to connect on either laptop or pc (both vista) getting error msg (this has only occurred lately was able to connect to the website without any hassle 4 days ago- )
This problem can be caused by a variety of issues, including:

Internet connectivity has been lost.
The website is temporarily unavailable.
The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable.
The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the website's domain. If this is an HTTPS (secure) address, click Tools, click Internet Options, click Advanced, and check to be sure the SSL and TLS protocols are enabled under the security section. However the website can be access via blackberry so its not that the website is down. :S
when following the help advise ruled out other issues as
The website can be pinged with mdu at 1472 anything higher and all packets are lost but not browsed, this seemed to point to the mdu.......... now stuck on what to put in the brackets (local area connection) in order to get the mdu changed.
(hope this makes sense to some one as i'm way out of my depth)
