I have a Win11 computer with an Asus motherboard. This message came on today asking if I wanted to put the driver updater on my computer. I typically say no to those kinds of things because it's usually just another layer of software and probably spyware to boot, but being as I have an Asus motherboard I thought it might be ok. When opening Family Tree Maker I get the message FTM not properly closed when last used, may need to compact your last opened file to resolve issues caused by improper shutdown. To compact file choose'compact file' from Tools menu Family tree then shuts down therefore the Tools Menu does not show this option. It was working properly before the last windows update. As the title says, The latest update has changed my wallpaper to Bing photos and won't let me get it back. I use a folder where I have a lot of images gathered over the years. Hello.Today, while watching Twitch, my computer suddenly turned off, the second time was when I was coming home and it had turned off, but before that it was working... I recently reinstalled Windows, all updates and drivers are installed. All temperatures are normal in games: CPU 60-70, video card 55-65 (it never happened to me that it restarts or shuts down the computer in a game or while testing the machine. the temperatures are normal, there are no high temperatures on the tests). I'm getting a bluescreen about once a month that appears to be whpx related as it mostly happens when using wsl2 or using qemu with whpx enabled. The last one happened just after starting a qemu vm. I can't be certain becuase it's very random as I can leave wsl2 running for weeks and open and close multiple vms without any problem. I have a MS comfort keyboard 5050 (5/22) and Norton is telling me the wireless keyboard filter device needs to be updated and is vulnerable, but I can't find a driver. I've looked in the MS Update Catalog with no results. Norton list the driver as 13.212.137.0. Any suggestions where to get it? I'm using Windows 11, Home edition.
