  1. Thanks snow. There was a spare power connector so I used it and all seems ok so far.
  2. I think (holds breath) I may have found the problem. I started to systematically disconnect hardware add ons. When I disconnected the slave (D) drive things seemed to stabilize and return to normal and it hasn't shutdown/restarted since then. I will leave for a few days to make sure though. If it was the problem is there any way to recover the 'stuff' from the drive? Yhanks for advice etc.
  3. Thanks guys. I will check out your info asap.
  4. Just recently my PC shuts down occasionally of its own accord. When it restarts I get an error message which when I click on preview says.... BCCode : 10000050 BCP1 : 8D45E400 BCP2 : 00000001 BCP3 : 80522B9E BCP4 : 00000000 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 3_0 Product : 768_1 It asks if I want more info and I get.... C:\DOCUME~1\RBVIDE~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERe614.dir00\Mini072809-02.dmp C:\DOCUME~1\RBVIDE~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERe614.dir00\sysdata.xml Does anyone know what these are and how to repair / delete or whatever. I am using XP Home. Thanks in advance.
