Thanks for your reply. I installed an older version, but it says because the file is created by the new version, it can’t open it. I installed the new version again, and this time the problem changed a little bit. The mouse pointer doesn’t appear as busy any more but a window comes out saying “ invalid request BLR at offset 42 BLR syntax error: expected TABLE at offset 42, encountered 67 Another question is that you said the other possibility is run a System Restore. Does System Restore mean restore disc C? :confused: Thanks a lot! :)

I used an old version of EssentialPIM Free. On 29/07/2009, the system let me update it. But after the update, the file can't be fully opened, the mouse point just appears as busy all the time. (The operation system of my computer is Windows XP.) Thanks for help!
