For the last 7 months or so every time I hit a bad link and get the 'Oops! this link appears to be broken' (Google HTTP 404-File not found) page, it displays this page notification correctly but only for a fraction of a second before it redirects to another page that looks identical except in the bullet point under suggestions it say's: Go to: http://www.memepasmal.net and in the google search box it has the foreign words 'Kikoolol me mepa small net'
I have never visited, searched or had any connection to the site http://www.memepasmal.net but it appears every single time after the page automatically redirects from one 404 page to another.
Also I'm sure this is relevant too, Last week I tried to instal apache Xampp to be able to develop a wordpress blog locally but every time I viewed my local host[/url] after instal, I'd get a page that was in a foreign language with a link to the same site. It did have some english which said, 'this url has been blacklisted'
I'm worried all this might be signs that my machine is part of some zombie network being used to send spam email's from my IP address. Does this sound likely? How could I resolve this problem and discover exactly what is happening?
Any idea who or what this http://www.memepasmal.net site is and why is it always appearing in my localhost and google 404 pages.
I have attached four files to this thread... Theres a screenshot of the page I get when I view my localhost (its in 3 parts [top, middle, bottom] to fit within the attachment dimensions) and the other file is a screenshot of the 404 redirect page.
:confused:PLEASE HELP ME, THIS IS SOOOO ANNOYING:confused:
