2 Problems here, much help appreciated.

I've got the newest Norton, scanned it and nothing found on a full system scan -
My pc is randomly freezing, only started a few days ago, I can my pc regulary, I have no spyware etc. any suggestions? Also this evening I went to download a game and when i clicked the download it didnt like me choose where to save it and it stayed at 0% Very odd :S Any help much appreciated, thanks alot :D
