  1. Thanks Nev I will do that. My graphics card is coming from Hong Kong so I do have a bit of time before i install it.
  2. Thanks for the comment Nev. I have a 800W PSU so I am not worried about the requirement. Just wanted to know if I could use the Molex connectors. Is your answer Yes to both questions? Thanks
  3. Hello everyone. I have a couple of questions about the connection adapter for my graphics card. I will be upgrading my graphiocs card to a NVIDIA GTX 280. It requires 2 power sources. 1x 6 pin PCI- E and 1 x 8 pin PCI-E cable. My Power supply has 1 x 6 pin PCI-E cable and I need to attach a 8 pin PCI-E converter to the molex connectors. The molex connectors need to be connected to 2 independent cables as shown in the picture below. http://i640.photobucket.com/albums/uu125/dark_princess_666/CONNECTION.jpg My problem is that I have 4 molex connectors on the PUS (2 on each cable). My questions are: 1) can i use these molex connector which i circled in the photo as I am worried that it might interfere with the power voltage to the graphics card. 2) can I use molex splitters as i need more power connections. Thank You in advance .
  4. Jelly Bean: I have the manual but the labels are not clear to me. It says that pin 1 red wire of the spdif out cable must align with pin 1 of spdif_io of the header. which pin (3 or 4) is the spdif_io? Dalo Harkin: I will be connecting the pc to the hdmi screen and possibly my av receiver hence why i want to install it now. Thanks Please Help!
  5. Spelt it wrong sorry Dalo Harkin:o
  6. Thanks for the info Dalo Harkim
  7. Hello everyone. I have a very unusal problem. My question relates to the S/PDIF cable that came with the graphics card Geforce 9400GT 1GB (GV-N94TOC-1GI). It says to connect the red wire to the S/PDIF out pin and the black to the Ground pin. I have the Gigabyte GAM61PME-S2P motherboard. The diagram shows 5 pins. 1=power, 2=no pin, 3=SPDIF, 4=SPDIFI, 5=GND, 6=GND. Question: Which pins on the motherboard do I connect the red and black wires? Jelly Bean if you read this post any ideas??
  8. Duly noted. Will do. My CPU will be covered by the fan anyway. Regards dark princess
  9. I found this link which shows a picture of the front temperature sensor. Google Image Result for http://img.tomshardware.com/us/2005/06/07/10_mammoth_cpu_coolers/asus_temperature_sensor.jpg Thanks for your help Jelly Bean :)
  10. Thank you for your comment Jelly Bean. My case does have a temp gauge at the from. There is a manual for the case but it does not mention anything about the wires. Can you confirm the photo that i placed on the link as temp sensor. Thanks
  11. UPDATE Images can be found here. http://i640.photobucket.com/albums/uu125/dark_princess_666/photo.jpg http://i640.photobucket.com/albums/uu125/dark_princess_666/photo2.jpg I read in another forum that this might be a temperature sensor for a front panel fan control/display unit and that you do not connect it to anything. link: a CPU wire, colored red - Topic Powered by Infopop
  12. Hi everyone. Any help is much appreciated. I have bought a Casecom Kj3391 PC Case and attempting my first built. I have seen so many videos and instructions and it all seemesd well until I saw the wires on the PC Case. I more or less know where all the wires go accept for one. It is 2 red wires connected together and labelled "CPU". Anyone have any ideas where it goes? It does not have the black connector, more like 2 pins in a plactic see through tube.
