If i uninstalled it would it effect my mum's account? she has loads of bookmarks she wont wanna lose and everything works fine with IE8 for her

After re-booting it let me open the programme so here's the log

I cant open the first programme to copy the log i keep getting "Illegal operation attempted on a registry key that has been marked for deletion" I struggled to open IE too cause of same error message out of 4 shortcuts only 1 would open :-(

I have uninstalled mcafee. I have been on all the other logins on the laptop and everything works fine on them. Its just my login with the problem. I have started a thread over in the other section so see where i go from there

It was on both browsers but following links on here I got firefox working but IE is still failing. Mum is just under another login we all have the same connections and everything I dont think I made any changes. I had some trouble with my router but belkin helped me fix that and everything started working for everyone else except me. Think it may be random. I can get Youtube or Photobucket at all in IE. I have never been on that metacafe before so I tried it and I could get the videos to play. but some of the images were white boxes with a red X in corner. - which is what happens on twitpic. oooh I cant use amazon either te webpage opens but there are no images (exept ad's) which throws all the page format out...its all wonky. Secuirty I have Norton 360 which came with the laptop and McAfee Is that everyting you needed? I just tried to upload something to photo bucket using Firefox and i got 'A network error caused your upload to fail. Please try your upload again" and I keep trying but get nothing.

Thanks. I just checked and it is unticked :( On Twitter I can view pics from YFrog but not twitpic. Its super annoying. there seems to be no reason for it

Hi Jelly Bean. It was me that set all the laptop up & there are no restrictions (as far as I know) Just been on my sisters account n guest account and everything works fine for them, its just me. Im trying to screen grab my screen but I have nowhere to post the grab cause I dont have photoshop :-/ and paint will only let me save as a bitmap which I struggle to upload. Security Settings: Internet - Custom Local Internet - Medium Low Trusted Sites - Medium Restricted Sites - high Privacy Settings Internet Zone - Low Popup Blocker is on In Private Do Not Collect Data - Not Ticked Disable toolbars and extensions wen InPrivate Browsing Starts - Ticked maybe thats some help to you

I installed flash for IE and Firefox. Would re-installing IE help?!
