  1. Oh thank you so much! I moved the PalmCheck to minimum and it works brilliantly now! Thats really great :D Also! This Acer has a function-key toggle to turn the mouse on and off! So why this setting is in place I do not know! Again - thanks!
  2. Thanks for the reply. I did all this, but when I looked under Mice and other pointing devices' there isn't a red or yellow mark beside the only device that appears 'Synaptics PS/2 Port TouchPad'.
  3. Operating System: Windows Vista Home Premium Make and Model: Acer Laptop 4810T Basically my problem is this, my mouse pointer locks into position whenever I use the keyboard. For example if I hold down a key - my mouse pointer will freeze to the current position on screen for the entire time I am holding down this button, and for around 1 second after I release the button. Although this does not happen for the ctrl, shift, alt or fn buttons. At the same time when I press a key my mouse pointer will stop moving however my mouse clicks both work. Other functions of the touch-pad also work, for example, zoom, scroll and clicking using the touch-pad. What I wondered is if there is a way to fix this so that my mouse will not lock into position whenever I touch a key?
