can i transfer photos from emachines modem, to acer laptop using usb cable, I no longer have the cable to connect old machines screen to the modem ( the big box bit), also the drawers to put disks into no longer works on the old emachines modem. I have really no idea about computers and I just want my photos !!! Please help !!

Hi I'm Liann, I don't have a clue really about computers so this forum looks like it's for me. I really want to learn. So hopefully you clever bunch can sort me out.
