  3. Welcome to the forum, Have you booted into BIOS (usually F2 or the Del key at boot) to see if a keyboard has been recognised. Is the keyboard setting disabled? Gee
  4. I noticed that some of the books I'm looking at getting to study for an MCSA/MCSE come with a 180 day trial version of Server 2003/2008. Now I know I can install it as a dual boot on my main pc with Vista, but my question is this: Can I use my Vista Laptop as a client? I know I can in somehow but do I have a dual boot vista system on it, one as an independent system (nothing to do with the server) and the other as a client to the server? I want to try and get my head around this before I start forking out money, as I want to be able to have a home server/client network to aid me in studying. I hereby await what will probably be a simple answer that I should have thought of! Gee
  5. You've probably tried this already, but just incase you haven't. Have you had a look at Mozilla's Thunderbird? Gee
  6. Hello all, My name is Gary or Gee and have just joined the site. My family and I have just moved to the beautiful fishing village of Whitby in North Yorkshire having previously living in Germany. I've built the last few PC's I've had and very much enjoy most thing's I.T. I'm currently serving in the RAF in the I.T. trade but my time in the force will soon be coming to an end (2015) having served nearly 17 years already. With this in mind I am starting to get some qualifications on my CV (Just starting the 2009 version of Comptia A+) and looking to gain an MCSA or maybe even the MCSE before I leave. I look forward to posting and reading other posts on this site. Gee
