All sorted now thanks all, yep i found it all came to life when i unplugged the mains all powered down, took battery out of motherboard for about 30mins and bingo, i got keyboard working into Bios and all happy. many thanks all Mr Happy is Happy again lol:)

ohhh ok thanks, ive got a ps2 mouse n keyboard plugged in now but still no action tho?? so fusstrating ahhhhhh lol

thanks for reply just tried f2 and delete keys and nothing all i get as i power up is the screen in the image. on the keyboard i pressed the caps lock etc to see if the light on the keyboard lit and it didnt . tried both the usb & ps2 keyboard

Hi all, just put all my new pc together tonight but a bit stuck now. I have done a self build before but that was ages ago & cant get forward now.. All new items include Gigabyte GA-M52L-S3 MBoard 4 gigs of kingston ram AMD Athlon X2 6000 processor 1 gb Geforce 9500GT duel dvi graphics card 250 Maxtor Sata Harddrive basic internal card reader LG Dvd writer light scribe 650w psu Was all confident on the wires on the MB etc all very easy Powered up and all fine, fans wizzed all lights etc as it should be the keyboard is usb and its not working, i tried a old ps2 keyboard as well but still no joy. I wasnt sure weather to put my xp disc in first or the MB or graphics card disc that came with them so i put the XP in, on screen i did have come up once about installing xp etc and then it said click return to move to next stage but the keyboard doesnt work so i was a bit buggered. since that ive turned off etc and all i get now on screen is "verifying DMI pool data............." and it just sits there... any ideas please?? thanks in advance
