Operating System: Windows XP Media Centre Edition
Make & Model: Dell Dimension E520
Hi,
When I turn my computer on, the BIOS runs, then the Windows XP is loading runs - it fades in very slowly, and suddenly I get a blue screen of death. The words IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL are on it, followed by some instructions I'm not quite sure how to carry out, then a code as follows:
0x0000000A (0x00000000,0x0000001C,0x00000001,0x804FB006)
There is nothing written after this, and the computer seems to be frozen in that state.
The last time I used my computer it was fine. However I came home to find my brother had used it, he said he was watching top gear on bbc i - player. He said he turned the computer off normally and everything was fine. Then when I turned it on what I described above happened. This happens every time I restart the computer using the power button.
Safe Mode\ Last Known Configuration do not work - I get an incomprehensible blue screen after BIOS. However I can access my system set up.
I have no idea what to do, I would be very rgateful if anyone could help me. Thanks.
