its an onboard one

hi guys, the monitor works fine - it has been checked on the laptop. the light comes on and would be yellow.No picture at all and i have just tried f8 but nothing happened. Any other ideas or does it sound knackered. thanks jerry

i cannot seem to get any images on my monitor. The monitor is fine so it must be the pc so can anyone help please
