  1. Vista Help Hi, I got the same laptop as you (Amilo Li 2727) a year ago as a birthday prez, and just after the years warranty ran out, i updated windows (windows home basic) Using live update when it appeared in the task bar. I then restarted my laptop and it would not boot up it said there was a problem and it gave me a choice run bug fix or run windows normally. I ran windows normally and it froze n turned off so i started it again and went on bug fix. It then ran throught bug fix and told me to use the boot up disks and if u have this laptop u will know that you have to create your own but every time i did the message to create them came up. So i looked round my room for my disks, i found my back-ups (the ones that you do every 30 days on the laptop) and put back-up 1 in. It then froze and would not move. so I tryed my other back-ups but non of them would unfreaze it. Then it restarted but this time it just said No Operating System Found. I then sent it off to my dads mate who took a look at it he said there was nothing he could do it was just not responding. I got it back today (which was a week since i gave it to him) and now it boots up and says....
