  1. Thanks very much for your help Danzil. I am at work at the moment but I will have a good read through the link you gave me tonight and try to solve the problem myself. Can I just double check by sticks you mean USB memory sticks? I don't think I had any installed when the problem occurred, although I'm not 100% sure as it was 2/3 weeks ago. I can't get in to check which ones work as I can't load up windows. I get these error messages as soon as I turn the laptop on, it doesnt even let me log in. Thanks again.
  2. I've rebooted a number of times and I still get the same messages/screens. Any idea how to fix this? Thanks
  3. Hi, I am getting the blue screen of death when I try to start up my Packard Bell Easynote Laptop. To start with a black screen appears saying that widnows did not start successfully, a recent hardware or software change might have caused this. It then gives me the following options: safe mode safe mode with networking safe mode with command point last known good configuration start windows normally No matter which one I choose I get the following message on a blue screen: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and also: Technical Information: *** STOP: 0x0000000A (0x00000000, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0x804F9B94) This happened a couple of weeks ago when I was downloading music. Everything seemed fine until I tried to open one of the songs and the computer shut itself down. When I restarted I got the messages/screens above. I dont have a windows xp disc, i have had this laptop for 3/4 years. Any help would be much appreciated as I have a lot of things (old photos, videos, uni stuff etc) that I need or would really like to keep. Cheers
