fineslate Not sure if this is a virus but here goes. We bought a fineslate tablet a few months ago. i think it's an Android 4.2.2 Jellybean (?). It's been ok up to now but i recently installed a few apps (nothing unusual)- Skype, Spotify and AVG (ironically). It seemed ok. But when i went to turn it back on i got this android robot eating jellybeans. Then when that goes and the main screen comes on it tells me everything is not working eg Google play, settings etc. It's very annoying. Once the million and one error messages stop coming up i can actually get onto the internet but the messages still contunue and i am not even able to get into settings to try and sort it out. I think one of the error messages we get is "process com.google.process.gapps" (i am not 100% though). Tried scouring the internet for advice but it seems no one has this specific problem. I find things similar sounding and basically the advice for this is to go into Settings. But the problem we have is nothing works. Well, we can get on the internet with it eventually. But if you click on something like settings it just says Settings does not work so we seem quite limited on how to fix it. Any ideas? nick

i think it's Android 4.2.2 Jellybean OS. When we turn it on we now get this little android eating jellybeans. Its a lovely animation but its getting annoying now . What's MBAM & OTL? Scouring the internet it's hard to find anyone who is experiencing it. I think one of the error meassages we get is "process com.google.process.gapps" (i am not 100% though). i don't think it's the printer per se. The print test actually prints the tests showing me it works. its just not printing normal things. i am wondering if it's a setting somewhere on the PC??

I have just installed and set up my printer (HP PSC 1500 series) and it works. Sort of. The tests work showing it has ink and it all plugged in etc. But i can't seem to get it to print any of my word docs. The paper goes through so it knows i have asked it to print and yet when the paper comes out there is nothing printed out. Just blank paper still. I am very baffled. i am pretty sure it's something basic i am missing but not sure what. Any ideas? Nick

error message i am struggling to find this 'hidden' file. I found a file called Rundll32.exe in Windows\System32. That wouldn't be anything to do with it would it? It's just that the error message says RUNDLL. nick

I have recently installed the latest Norton (Norton 360) but ever since i seem to be getting an error message everytime i turn my PC on and then having touble connecting to the interent for a while. Not sure if any of these things are all connected. But the error message is annoying me and i want to know what it all means and how to get rid of it. The error mesage says.. Error Loading C:\DOCUME~1\HP_ADM~1\5286156.dll nick

spotify Well i never!! how did i miss that? cheers nick

Does anyone know how to stop Spotify automatically launching as soon as i turn my PC on? It used to be fine. It's ever since i updated it a few days ago it keeps coming on. Very annoying. I know there must be a setting somewhere that is telling it to come on everytime i turn on the pc but i can't find it for the life of me. Any ideas? Nick

locked out Thanks guys. Yea. i just clicked ok and it logged in ....Doh! nick

I have found myself locked out of my Compaq PC. I had it so it was asking for my password everytime i switched on my PC. I wanted it to stop asking me for a password and switch straight on. So i thought i was doing the right thing when i deleted the password. Nope. So now the PC comes on and STILL asks for the password but won't let me in because the password that ocve worked no longer does because i deleted it :( How the heck do i get back into my own PC?? nick

I have just got a new pc and i am trying to transfer all my files from my old pc to my new pc. I have bought a pc-pc ethernet cable but i can't seem to get the pc's to talk to each other. i can find the old pc on my a new pc (and vice verca) but they won't seem to connect. When it asks me for the password for my old pc it just doesn't connect. Any ideas? nick
