Could this be the problem? Thanks for your input. Cleaned as you said but no change, however, I did notice that one of the fans was not working when I started the pc. I left the side panel off when I started the pc, one fan that is at the back of the unit worked fine but another fan in a box like frame didnt turn at all, although I could move it manually. I also timed how long it would take before the pc shut itself down, this took 13minutes every time and I did it 7times with the same result, could it be overheating at 13min and closing down due to that other fan? Got a xp system. when I turn on the pc it takes a long time for the internet to load, when it does the pc turns off after approx 7min. What is the problem, any help would be great. Topper
