  1. Thanks for that Match, I don't intend to run A.V.G. in future... thanks again, diggerlee.
  2. Hi. Match, I removed the A.V.G. with the windows uninstaller, & I just use S.A.S. for regular scans, the a.v.g. tools download you've given me, can run this & remove the S.A.S. ? many thanks......
  3. Hi. Randyl, thanks for info. I removed my A.V.G. a couple of days ago, and am now just running Superantispyware on it's own, am I right in assuming that this is NOT a firewall ? I will try the Avast again, if successful, do I need to run both programmes ? ( avast & S.A.S.) THANKS....
  4. Hi. Match, thanks for reply, as you can probably tell ! I'm a complete novice, however, I tried the "avast" link, & when installed, I couldn't get into outlook express, so I removed it again, am I doing something wrong? should I have removed Superanti -Spyware while running Avast? sorry to appear so stupid....thanks,
  5. Hi. I'm running windows x.p. and have A.V.G. free installed, plus Super-anti spyware, but since I installed the latter, my p.c. has been taking an eternity to start up, ( 15-20 mins.) then a couple of days ago it froze on me, with an a.v.g. pop up box saying, " multiple threats" had been detected. I couldn't clear this pop up without re-booting the system, but it kept re-appearing, so I removed A.V.G. from my p.c. this cured the problem, & has also speeded up the p.c. But am I safe by just running Super-anti spyware??? any help PLEASE....
