I had the same problem mentioned above with an error message 39. I cleared it by going into the registry and clearing the upper and lower filter values and now the pc recognizes and plays dvd's. The problem I have now is that I cannot re-write discs and up to now I have notmade a recovery disc. I have search the net for updates but am being told all drivers are up to date, any ideas anyone?
