Well PlasticNev , problem solved, tried alternative monitor and cable which showed my monitor/cable was at fault. Tried alternative monitor with my cable that showe ok. Alternative cable showed that my monitor definately was at fault. so i thought what next new monitor or further advice? Put everything back and hey presto my monitor working fine now!! but thanks Plastic Nev you put me in the right direction ty Nizmaro

Hi plastic nev. i dont get the lines on any of the graphics on the pages, but what you sent ie, the pic with lines on is exactly how i my pics and videos are viewed. thanks for the reply i hope you can help Nizmaro

hello folks i have probs viewing oics or videaos in jpg mpeg without them being distorted by contour lines any ideas ? thanks Nizmaro:confused:
