  1. Hi Randy, Thanks for your quick response. I started with step 1 and as expected when i run the programme the same message pops up and blocks it so i can't do it. So i'm stuck what can i do?
  2. Help please! I am a bit of a novice when it comes to computers. I have a Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop. The problem started when i started getting loads of warning messages about viruses tryig to attack my system as f they were coming from windows. When you followed the link to scan and delete/fix the viruses it would tell you to pay $44 or something for the protection. I already have internet protection etc on my pc - the AVG free version. I ran a complete computer scan using this and it showed that there were no viruses found. Now they seem to have stopped but i can't open ANY programmes on my computer; itunes, word, excel... everything! i can't even re-set the clock. it all seems to be blocked. i can get onto the internet and i have found scans that you can run to clean up this problem but i can't run them because the same warning message will pop up to stop me. Also, when on the internet some websites will not open - it takes me to a page that says that this site is dangerous (which it clearly isn't because it is a well known site) if you try to continue to the site it takes you to pay that again is trying to sell me some internet security in dollars! The warning that pops up whenever i do anything is: rund1132.exe Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You ma not have the appropriate permissions to access the item. Please help and advise.... is my computer infected? What should i do?
