  2. Hi Ken thanks for replying. The thing is I can't get the key board to work until an os is running it just will not talk no matter what I do .Begining to think the way ahead is a new hd,reinstall and then copy all contents over. Loads of fun just what I need!
  3. Hi all I'll try and make a long one short, using Windows 7, the other night we lost power which crashed the system, my wife re-booted but because we have a multi screen set up the boot screen is displayed on monitor that was not on. Now we get to the prob. because she didn't see anything happening she switched off and on again leaving the screen at boot continue with 2 options return to normal boot and delete all recovery dater and attempt to boot. Ok now we get to it my keyboard will not communicate with the computer vie usb or ps2 so I'm well and truly stuck any ideas? Thanks chaps Neill

  6. Hi goian, yes you will need to use thermal paste unless your cooler has it pre-applied, some do the corsair water cooling units for one.
  7. Same thing with me, they want you transfer to outlook, well that worked for me. I also up-graded to IE10, it is relatively quick.
  8. Hi Gadgi, I used to use Eset nod 32, never had a problem, not system hog like Norton, first rate detection and pretty fast scans. The only reason I now use MSE is it's free ( got to love a bargan!) Neill
  9. "Faulty mice" I had a batch of them once, the snakes refused to eat any of them! ( sorry bored ridged and couldn't resist )

  12. Older members will remember the desk calenders that comprised small sheets of paper with date, day and a thought for the day which you riped of each morning. I wondered if we should have one here, any way here we are with the first. Never under any circumstances take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.:o Enjoy Neill
