help sound device please Hi guys, Tried a system restore and everything seems to be back to normal. With regards to Loanis Trojan Remover I have been using this useful little program for over a year and if anything it has helped my PC's performance. It does what it says on the box. It got a couple that nod 32 missed. One stage I could not get into certain drives on my PC ran Trojan Scanner and it resolved the problem. My PC guy is pretty knowledgeable and was impressed with this program. If you want to find out more google it I am sure you will find their web page if you want to look into it. I have just been cleaning bugs out of system. I am getting this error message Bad Direct sound driver. Please install proper drivers or select another device in configuration. Error code 887800078. There is a sound driver it was working yesterday but after I scanned for viruses and malware it stopped working and this error message came up. I am running windows xp professional with nod 32, spybot, super anti spyware and Loranis Trojan Remover. Any help would be appreciated... His Royal Highness Fish
