  1. Hi, They have the Broadband Lite at just £7.50 a month which seemed ideal, however their coverage map says only outdoor reception ! - yet most surrounding areas ok and we are on the brow rather than a dip ? Usually good mobile phone reception on most networks in my area - just down the road from Leeds.
  2. Hi, Yes, I just read about that since my original post - Virgin Mobile do use the T-Mobile network - it just highlights the point I was concerned about. Never like to put all the eggs in one basket - will have to look at other providers.
  3. Hi all, Hope this question is in the right forum - its not strickly a network problem. I'm in the UK and use Virgin media cable broadband and phone , BT having been disconnected as they could not even provide 500k. While all is well, should anything go wrong with Virgins modem or anything from the cable back to their system all its lost, so I was considering one of the Moblie USB sticks to provide me with an alternative path for my desktop and for a laptop I'm looking at getting for when out on the road at work. While Orange mobile package looks good and has just be awarded best mobile usb provider I was wondering if Orange or any of the other big providers share resources ? So if lets say Virgin system failed could that affect Orange in any way or are they all totally separate. I don't want to buy from a provider only to find they both can go down together. thanks.
