  1. I know many of you may of had this before, but i get it almost constantly. When typing, my text will lag. By that i mean i cannot see what im typing (screen freeze) for a few seconds, although everything else seems to work, then it will appear. It happens in most applications MSN, Word, Chrome. I have dbl cheacked no AV/Spyware/Ad-ware etc is running (both anti apps and the stuff its self) Short of a re-install, which would be a PITA as i have an upgrade only, any suggestions?
  2. Thanks for the tips, thermal is not an issue. Ihave a decent non-stock heatsink and some arctic silver paste, cpu is running no hotter then 32-35'c and thats when i push it (CPU temp limits is 60-65 AFAIK. The board is getting a bit old so maybe it is wearing out, although i cant see any signs of damage, my internal temp is normaly 20'c. I guess my only real option is to buy a new motherboard and new PSU, that way everything is brand new! and the if i still get a problem, well, Do PC's float?
  3. Ok, My PC is a custom Build, Windows 7 Pro 6GB ram 500+320GB hard drive AMD 9850BE AM2 Asus M2N SLI Delux 7600GT 550watt OCZ PSU So, my problem. Every few months, or weeks my pc decides it dosent want to boot. When it is turned on, all drives / fans spin up, then after a few seconds, with no image on screen. It turns off. Now here is the odd part, if left for a few hours, or a few minutes, it will start working again. If i take everything apart, put it back together it normaly starts working again. But, when it does start working, sometimes it then fails to boot / refuses to boot to either a DVD or hard drive. No matter what i do, forcing it to boot with F8 or setting a boot seq in bios. I initaly thought it was the mother board, so replaced it with a spare, similar problems occured, i have replaced the RAM, PSU, Tried booting with no drives attached and only one stick of ram, nothing. Then, it will just work perfectly as if nothing happeded. The only thing i do, the only common factor is i press the reset button when windows in in full swing (Normally when this occurs i have teh intention of re-installing windows, maybe teh PC knows this and sulks) As you can see, pretty annoying problem, and i have absolutly no idea where to go next, most of the components at <6months old, (with the exeption of Mobo and PSU) Its soooo annoying, thanks for any help. Ryan
