Hello everyone, I have a hard time with my PSU becasue it's so damn noisy.
I would like to get some recommendations on some PSUs, because you can't always trust the ferm on this one.
If you could recommend a PSU of aprox. 650 - 700 then it would be great
Well, it seems like some ports are dedicated for esata and some are not.. I have found out that it's the marvell 61xx driver that I have to install,, but it doesn't support ahci,, and that means no hotswap I think,,,,, very frustrating
The problem is that I have to figure out what driver I have to install,, Neither the mobo disc or the manual tell me.. is it Marvell 88SE6111 SATA Controller with Marvell 6121 SATA Driver... I'm confused,, and what about the fact that some ports are dedicated for eSATA,, I've got no information at all
Hey everyone,
I have had some problems with an eSATA drive, I don't know if the controller is the problem,, well anyway, it isn't working the right way, it gets disconnected from the system and doesn't answer at times,, There's no guide how to enable eSATA in the mobo manual... It's the P5Q one
Hallo everybody,
I wondered if you have any experience of backing up a system in AHCI mode to another harddrive,, I don't have much experience with this, so I thought that you could help me out.
I'm not into registry errors, but that could be the explanation. Have you installed some crappy software? I usually get such kind of errors when I have installed something very crappy, but when I didn't know. Try going back in time with system restore
Yes I'm surprised too, It's the verbatim one on 1,5 GB combo... Very weird that this model isn't capable of SMART. The company has said so.
Well I will use this option because it's the cheapest way to get a lot of space and an okay speed I think, but If you have a cheaper one I would really like to hear it:)
I have got the information now that the eSATA harddrive I'm going to buy isn't smart-monitoring capable. Does this conflict with the drive's stability If the port that I'm using the eSATA on is enabled with smart..? And auto detection? And this hasn't got anything to do with plug and play right?
Can some one tell if I have to change anything in the bios concerning the AHCI connection? I want to connet an eSATA harddrive, but I don't know if it's enough just to turn on the AHCI in bios..
Hallo everyone,
Thanks for taking me in:) I'm glad to have discovered this site. Sorry if my english is bad,,, I'm just a Dane bare with me:p If you don't understand what I'm saying you just tell me no problem at all:)
I hope that I can contribute with something myself,,
by the way can I change my username? I think it's a bit tastless.
