  1. Thanks for the quick response, I have asked Antec via their support mail and they gave me a short unhelpful response,ie connect them to the PSU. My motherboard ASUS M4A785D-M PRO has two connections for fan control, one for the PSU fan and one for the case fan. However the case fans only have a large peripheral power plug and the PSU does not have a plug for connection to the motherboard? (Antec Earthwatts 500 watt PSU installed) Unfortunatly Antec make good cases but their manual is useless and does not even explain what the miriad of cables are for, but I can see their is no connection for the motherboard fan control. The two case fans have a further connection going to a speed control switch on the case rear, but this will not shut them down. My only thought is does the Antec PSU have the ability to cut the power to the fans when the PC is shut down? It does appear to have various electronics to control input and outputn but once again the manual is next to useless.
  2. Purchased an Antec mini P 180 case which has two case fans. The fans only have power leads for connection direct to PSU? Is this something which you come across a lot? I have not powered it up yet but presume the fans will stay on unless the PSU switch is off. This doesn,t sound right and all the guidance I read tells me the fans should be powered off the motherboard. Can anyone advise please. Antec Earthwatts 500 watt PSU installed
