  1. Thanks for your reply. When the internet was installed the engineer set the security to WEP, so I guess I would need to change it to WPA2. On a related note I have tried removing the security altogether and it still doesn't connect to the internet. I will look at the SSID, although my wireless receiver is finding and connecting to the network, I am definately entering the passphrase correctly so I guess I can eliminate that possible cause. I have read elsewhere that the windows 7 is a bit awkward when it comes to dlink routers so this might also be part of the problem.
  2. Hello all, As the title of this thread suggests I can connect to my wireless network but not the internet. My wireless adapter is a getnet wireless 802.11n, 300Mbps USB adapter. My router is D-Link Wireless N Router DIR-615. My operating system is Windows 7 32-bit. When the chap came to install the internet, he setup my girlfriend's laptop to connect to the internet, so the internet is working... just not on my computer! I did an IP config thingy and I got this result: Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7600] Copyright © 2009 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.
