  1. Never mind, i found someone that can help and it worked http://www.thehelper.net/forums/showpost.php?s=4843485b127862036aeb5039f5063641&p=212578&postcount=12
  2. there may be a way to stream the data to your pc, but other than that, i don't know.
  3. Ok, i got punkbuster back but i still get that error message. any ideas?
  4. Ok, i been bugging EA one this one but there as helpful as........you get the picture. anyways, for the past month i been getting an error message saying "Your cd-key is not valid" now i have tried everything. repair, unistall, reinstall, complete uninstall (went throw reg and cleaned out anything BF2)) deleted patch, deleted shortcuts anything bf2 gone. installed it, downloaded patch again. Tried run as admin, tried run as windows xp (i run vista and yes, the game worked on it just fine) nothing worked, you i thought i need to run punkbuster as admin, when i go into the folder theres about 9 .dll files when there should be a pnkbster B file in there ( thats what my friends pb folder has) Is there a place i can download punkbuster from. there website not helpful because its only updates
  5. Ok, i am coming up to the end of the year overhaul of my pc. I going to remove most of the componets, clean them and reassemble it. My question is how often should i change the CPUs and Heatsinks Heat paste? (my pc is about a year old and its still the same CPU and heatsink)
  6. my uncle, he read that some guy had trouble.
  7. I want to bet 2 more GB or ram for my pc (this brings my ram up to 3 GB) But i have been hearing things like vista will slow down because of it. Is there a way to fix this or is it in the RAM?
  8. The PC cafe i used to go to had a program that let you run games without the disc (or the disc was saved on to the HD, i couldn't tell ya.) This was so they didn't need to be moving disc around all day long. I have a laptop i want to the same with because it does not have a built in CD drive (previews owner wanted power over CD capability.) Does anybody know a program liked that (i would ask that pc cafe but they went out of biz) it help if it was free.
  9. ok, well, i hope it was jus tje last mobo.
  10. I hear that vista 64 bit been having trouble. but xp not installing, i think theres something wrong with your bios or HD
  11. no, it hasn't happen again and the guy at the shop think it may of been the mobo (motherboard) or cpu, so he gave me a a new mobo and cpu (same make as the last cpu and mobo) since i have a year of full coverage on this. Its hasn't done it again, but if it does, what should i do?
  12. I not running anything big tho.i have 1 GB of DDR 2 ram and Geforce 7600 GS
  13. Its DX 9 (tho vista supports DX10) and i cleaned out my pc about a month before this. shoot it will the air hose and shotvac. I know it didn't over heat, my temp showed it was running at 90F when it happened. And i just got i back today, guy at the shop said nothing looked wrong but since my pc got a warrenty, i got a new motherboard for about 5 buck (USA money) PSU: 450 watt
  14. I was playing Battlefield 2 and all of a sudden my screen goes dark. at first i thought the power had gone out again (livening in CA,USA, or power grid is not really good) But my screen power button was still green and stayed green, its suppost to go orange when the pc shuts off. Then i realized the power in my room was still on and my G15 keyboard on laser mouse was still lite up. the only thing that look off was my tower. no fans were running, and the front 2 LED lights were off. then about 2 min later the tower hums back to life (lights and all) and my screen goes right back to Battlefield 2. and about 10 secs later, the game crashes and vista tells me my hardware maybe over heating. Now, this PC is almost brand new. only 6 months old. this is the first and only time this has happened. Can anybody tell me what happened, its in the shop right now being looked at but the guy at the shop said he never heared of a pc doing this?
  15. well. I am a hard core PC fan, so i would tell you everything thats wrong with a mac but since your not a gamer, thats a different story. PC pros> Can run Games, supports a hell of a lot of hardware, can be upgrade if needed and software and controls 90% of the market. (if i am wrong, please correct me) PC cons> Can get a virus, can be hacked, can over heat and/or catch fire. Mac Pros> Greet at movie making, very easy to use if you only going on the web and checking e-mail and other websites like myspace. and theres almost now virus and haclers don't bother mac users Mac Cons> Can crash randomly sometimes, If ya delete a important system file, your screwed. Not alot of programs work on it and your can't upgrade most macs if the need comes up. this is from past incidents that have happen to me or friends of mine. I am still a PC fan and i don't think i will be getting a mac soon, even tho i think it be cool to have both a PC and a Mac
