HI thanks for the speedy reply, When i do MSCONFIG it is not showing however there is a box ticked for start up, but has no writing beside it to say what it is. very strange. On thelocation it says HKLM/SOFTWARE/microsoft/windows/currentversion/run but as i said above under command its blank Is this normal all i can presume is this is the NSPSTARTUP. thanks again Mike

Hi folks, Im new to here so hello to you all. I just ran my CC cleaner and looked at files that are in start up, there is one called NPSSTARTUP. I have spybot and adaware and avg virus scan neither of these have picked anything up. Is this something thats part of Windows XP, or something else? Can it be deleted? thanks in advance Mike
