I tried systemrestore, but No luck there :/

Alright, seems i find myself In a bit of a pickle... When i went to bed last night, Vista was installing the latest patch. Some time later i wake up and see a black screen but Can hear the computer is going. Tired, i hit the power and go to sleep. When i then try to boot this morning, it gets stuck at the Vista load screen. If I use errorfree (sorry, don't know the english word for the setting!) mode, i Can boot. If i do the same with network enabled, though, it does not work. Any help appriciated!
