Hello, Recently my laptop died and I need to retrieve the data from the hard drive. The hard drive is for sure ok, but the laptop itself will not turn on anymore. I have a friend who has the exact same laptop with same hardware/operating system as I do, and I am wondering, can I simply put my hard drive into his laptop to retrieve my data??
