Hi, I'm Brian, and I'm computer illiterate. Ok, I'm not exactly illiterate. But I don't know enough to help myself at the present time. I appreciate any and everything you can help me out with. I don't have any money to send or anything, but I honestly will be grateful. I'll PRAY for you, howabout that. Also, I have a new post in the hardware section. Trust me. I built my own PC about three years ago. And now I can't even recall how I did it. I mean, I did a pretty good job I think. But I couldn't do it now, no way.

I recently (two days ago) installed a new hard drive in my PC, so now I have two. I figured out that I needed to format it in order for the PC to detect it; and I chose to do "dynamic" because... I don't know. It sounded like the right thing to do at the time. Now my PC detects my new hard drive. I can access it and everything; but it is INCREDIBLY slow. Like, it takes about 5 minutes to transfer ONE megabyte of information to the new drive. It is infuriating. Did I irreparably screw up my new drive? Is there anything that can be done? I would appreciate any advice SO much. Thanks.
