  1. altho if your an avid gamer i wouldnt suggest that card? well either way if you game even slightly go for at the least a gts 450 or radeon hd 5770 both should work fine with medium to high settings on almost any game you throw at them:)
  2. its a newer dell it will run it just fine. I had a dell xps 410 with 4gigs ddr2,q6600,and bfg tech gtx 260 all on stock "400watt" psu and it all ran just fine
  3. what game and are you running win7 x86 or x64? and a lot of games still have compatabilty problems in windows 7 but you could try right clicking on the setup file and hit run as admin.
  4. well here hope it helps LCD Topgun 2 and yes its pc and lcd, plasma, and projecter capable:D
  5. was going to say to do just that "made the same mistake on an acer aspire-5050"
  6. try uninstalling your display drivers and reinstalling user the ones from the manufacturer website then update with the latest from ati and your fn-keys are linked to a driver you shoulb be able to find on the manufacturer website also.
  7. This might bum you out a bit but here is the best agp graphics card that i know of its a bit of a step up from the one you have Newegg.com - HIS IceQ H467QS1GHA Radeon HD 4670 1GB 128-bit DDR3 AGP 4X/8X HDCP Ready Video Card ;) hope you like!
  8. yes and the onboard graphics work fine he wanted me to get one of the ati-cards working. but the 9200 is shot and the 9800 pro works fine untill it installs the driver then the display just gos to sleep. restart and same problem. i did however figure out his powersupply was kicking the card way too much juice "power pins were black" and switched psu. but still the same glitch??
  9. and the hp should be fn+ one of your f-keys :D
  10. Hi i am trying to fix my friends extremly low budget gaming pc. Too make a long story short the pc has no side panels and his 4yo kid tipped over his coffee :-). but ive got everything up and running again except for his graphics card he brought me over two Ati Radeon 9200 128m Ati Radeon 9800 Pro 128m Now the 9800 was in the pc before and caught a lot of coffee but it works untill i change the screen resolution to 1680-1050 then it shuts off?? And the 9200 from the start makes everything even in cmos look like a rainbow every letter is a different color and when xp loads it looks like an original nintendo with a dirty game"basicaly its all messed up" ive got four mouse pointers and the list go's on any help or advise leading to fixing them "hes not buying another one" would be greatly aprieciated "i almost dont know crap about agp or its format"
