Hi everyone, I am in Singapore, xp installed in english... According to PSE, I did change the regional language settings (already in Englsih, and nothing seems out of order, but I still updated them), and uninstall, reinstall one of most recent software that changed to chinese. Its the same result. :o:( Thanks to those helping... !! :):)

Hi everyone, I am new to this forum. I have a PC running on Windows xp home edition ver 2002, service pack 3, Pentium 4, 2.8ghz, ram, 512 mb. I installed a number of software which are in English, however, after installation, the screen of the software shows in Chinese (i can read some, but prefer to use it in English). This happens for many software, eg HP scanner, registry booster, panasonic video cam software... etc proprietary as well as those on the net... But not all installations result in chinese version being installed. :(:confused: Is it because some setting is done ? How do I change the operating system settings so that all software installations are in English. The software installation screen at the beginning does not permit selection of language. Appreciate your help... anyone ?:)
