I have an HP touchscreen laptop and during use the mouse pointer sometiems vanishes. I have checked the setting that removes the mouse when typing and this is switched off. i tried updating to Windows 7 and it was fine for several weeks but has started doing this again. I run a SCS cuing system and when the pointer goes off screen then the keys do not activate and I have to bring the pointer back in manually but it sometimes vanishes again in a couple of seconds. My problem is I don't know if this is a pc problem or software problem. Can anyone help please?
