hi hooky thank you for your response to my question about windows 7 ,have just got my windows 7 ultimate 32-bit x86 upgrade disc zzzz(info of disc ) so looks like i will have to purchase a copy of windows xp first then use my windows 7 disc ,does it matter what windows xp disc i use .regards justpurple

hi guys need some advice about installing windows 7 on a new hard drive ,can i just load the new disk straight onto a new hard drive or willl i have to put a windows xp operating system on first then put the windows 7 over the top of xp ,dont have a clue im afraid ,my hard drive with windows 7 is only a small gb ,so have a 500gb hard drive inside and have to keep transfering my stuff to that ,sure dont no what to do anh advice would be helpfull please .justpurple:(
