Dear All, I have recently had to replace the hardrive on my DELL inspiron 1720. Everything is fine, vista is back on and i've got all my data back on from backup. One problem, i need to reinstall the driver for my bluetooth device, i put the driver CD in, and ask it to install the driver. A box comes up, asking me to switch on my bluetooth device so it can be identified....I can't do it. The button on the side of the laptop is on, but the Bluetooth is not on. The way i see it, it isn't broken, i just don't know how to switch it on in the computer. There needs to be something i can click on the activate it again because when the button on the side of the laptop is on, you get the option to switch bluetooth off even though the button is on, that is what i did before i started having problems with the hardrive. Any tips? Device manage? control pannel? What should i do? I just need a way of activating bluetooth, so windows can install drivers and software for it, but because there are no drivers and software for it, i can't activate it.
