  1. Hi there, I signed up with a new ISP provider and since then have been unable to play online games (ie Everquest2, LOTR, Vanguard etc). My web browsing and downloading of files have no issues. LOTR can download the patches without issue but when I log in I cannot connect to their login server, with everquest it goes to login server first and I can't get connected. Here is what I see with my PC IP address assigned by my ISP is 192.168.2.x IP address when using a website to check my ip number 24.215.x.y When I do a traceroute to any of the game servers from my pc it can find the servers easily. When I do a reverse traceroute (using a website to trace back to my pc from the site) the path is lost 1 or 2 hops away from me. I am wondering what ideas people may have as to what this issue might be. Whether it is a port issue (i've sent the port numbers used by the games to my isp provider and they are going to check if they are open/closed) but I don't think that is the issue. Is it reasonable to think that the difference in IP's is what is causing my trouble, and if so what can I do to fix it. Thanks for all your suggestions/brainstorming!!! Tanya
