Hi I am new to this so please be gentle with me. I have used vista and internet explora with Virgin for a long time but since christmas eve I have noticed that instead of some adverts displaying I just get a red box. This is stopping me playing games in Yahoo as I cannot insert the password as the red box is there. Also my pc is asking me to sign on in all my favourite sites I visit instead of remembering me. I hope someone understands me and can help Many thanks Ann

I had it formatted 2 months ago and didn't notice tech failed to get spyware protection back on. I just downloaded new software and cleaned it up. I'm wondering if it has been messed up by all the junk that managed to get on board. Main Problem: I can no longer save documents and photos to My Documents. No error messages. It just looks like a normal save. But nothing is turning up saved there. Other Problems: "this program is not responding" and the silver screen of death. Lots of hourglasses.:( The problems have remained even after I cleaned off the spyware (there were 114 infections found). I have Win XP, Home Ed. I'd appreciate any input you may have.

Hello all ,as far as computers are concerned im a complete novice really so I could really use some help! My wife recently borrowed a friends sd card out of their camera so she could put their photos on our pc, she put the sd card into our own camera and loaded the pics onto the pc , sounds straight forward enough but since doing it any and all photos on our pc flash purple and green even pictures on the web do it . Windows works fine ie the toolbar etc but if its a photo were stuffed . Our friends camera is a 7megapixel camera but ours is only a 5megapixel i dont know if that makes a difference ? The flashing effect on the pics mostly effects the dark areas of the pic. I know there is a genius out there who will just laugh at me and tell me a really simple fix but as i said im a novice at this PLEASE HELP

Hi again, I have a DVD with a slideshow of photo burned to it. We seem to have lost the original photos, is there as way of saving the photos as individual files on the computer.
