just as i thought i had got rid of platte media i am now wondering if it is trying to attatch itself to big fish games which I have been using for years without problems. Avast has found the trojan but cannot remove because it is shared with big fish games. What should i do next?? Am at a loss and am hoping platte wont appear again thanks -
Hi my wireless network had a problem and I had to reset everything (Speedtouch 585 v6 and speedtouch wireless). My problem now is that if I start Zonealarm I cannot connect to the internet. I am using windows firewall at the moment but, would prefer Zonealarm. I seem to have all the right IPs and sub net settings as before and the MAIN ethernet computer is working fine. Can someone point me in the right direction as to what is going on. At one stage I was asked fora WEP key number and or WPA-PSK never been asked that before and don't know what they are. Hi guys , fantastic site as many have said - just a question really what would folks consider to be the best free to use firewall - i use already NOD32 2008 VERSION Antivirus and wondered if its worth usinga firewall as well ? Kind Regards thekop0071 :) -
Have just installed in the past few days Avast as recommended on here. Is it normal for it to run and be active most of the time - in real time compared to AVG which updated daily at a scheduled time? Thanks Steve
