Windows Spotlight no longer works or is accessible in my Windows 11. Problem started after update before the last one. How do I fix this? I tried the suggested fix that was posted on line by Microsoft, but it didn't fix anything, because as far as my version of Windows 11 is concerned "Windows Spotlight" no longer exists, or at least all the "fix" options don't work or even acknowledge Spotlight's existence.I know my computer's functionality isn't dependent upon Windows Spotlight, but I got used to it, and I'd like to have it back and functioning.Thanks,Alan Rosenbaum Continue reading... -

Hi.I have Windows 11 and installed Windows Subsystems for Android on it. I followed a guide online and successfully installed Google Play store, which allows me to install any Android app from there.The guide can be found here:https://www.windowscentral.com/how-run-google-play-store-android-apps-windows-11The issue that i have is with root. I have had Windows 11 installed on my Alienware PC with 2TB HDD and the 100% disk usage is causing my PC to slow down an awful lot meaning that downloading games from Steam and updating is causing an initial slowdown to my PC that I got in 2019 and it would go extremely slow when using it and the disk usage always reaches 100% it would cause the PC to slow down and what is the difference between HDD and SSD drive if the traditional HDD has slowed down my PC so often? I ran PC Health Checkup to see if my laptop meets the requirements for Win 11 update. It says my processor is not supported for Win 11. Hi I was wondering if anyone else was having problems with renaming files or folders in Windows 11 (which I really love the look and feel of by the way). When ever I right click and then attempt to go to "More Options", the box will close. This happens infrequently with no set pattern. I am eventually able to get into "More Options" allowing me to select "Rename" but when I then go to the highlighted name to change it, the file or folder opens. Windows 10 was already quite "annoying" in the sense that ratings assigned to songs in Windows Media Player were only temporary. In order to make those ratings permanent, one had to go to the corresponding MP3 file and change manually the rating in the Properties / Details of that file.It looks like Windows 11 is taking this one notch further, as one doesn't seem to be able to change the rating at all in the corresponding MP3 file...What's going on here? Is Microsoft in cahoots with someone so that we stop using Windows Media Player to give ratings to songs?? Continue reading... -

Hello,I've recently updated to windows 11 and my Bluetooth headphones have stopped working properly. I have no issues pairing and connecting my headphones through Bluetooth (settings show that voice and audio is connected). But once I play a video on YouTube or something on Netflix, the audio works for about 5 seconds before dropping out completely. The audio comes back for a second occasionally, showing that the headphones are connected, but for the majority of the video there is no audio playing through the connected headphones. Hello,So last week I go to a computer repair service to replace my laptop's keyboard (my laptop still on Windows 10). When I take it back, I noticed that the computer can't automatically switch between speaker and headphone.
