Guest Rey Santos Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 RE: Start Button not showing recently used programs Right-click the Start button and select Properties. In the Start Menu tab, click Customize. On the General tab Make sure that under Programs the "Number of programs on Start menu" is not set to 0. Also try clearing the list in the registry once, by pressing Clear List button. If that does not work. Go to your registry and navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer Disable the two policies namely NoInstrumentation and NoStartMenuMFUprogramsList if present. Edit Menu > Modify > On Edit DWORD Value box enter 0 on Value data: box. A value of 1 is enabled, and a value of 0 is disabled. You may need to restart. -- Rey "rghyder" wrote: > When I press start button , i never show any programs in list. I have gone > ito properties and checked all settings. What am I missing?
