Guest Asad Ul-Islam Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 Dear all I have had Windows XP with SP3. Recently i had a powerfailure which resulted in improper shutdown. After that my windows got curropt and i had to install it again. Now during reinstallation Windows (with Sp2) Run Checkdsk on 2nd Partition. And found some index problems and gave messages like "recovering orphan files etc". Now after this fresh instllation I am not able to Access some of my Folders in 2nd Drive. Windows is saying ACCESS DENIED. But i think there is data present on those folders as my Antivirus software is able to SCAN those folders and shows files in it while scanning. Now HOw can i access those Folders??? Any ideas? I am sure data is present on those folders. Regards, Asad.
