Internet Explorer Issue

When I try to open up internet eplorer for browsing, a red X sign pops up stating that

" This file does not have a program associated with for performing this action. Create

an association in the Set Association control panel. " What can I truly do to correct this

problem and I mean fast ?

Try this:

Control Panel > Internet Options > Advanced

Click on the Reset button.

I had this problem a few days ago, I just downloaded a newer version of internet explorer, everything was fine once I installed it.
