But it is definitely not showing in windows Task Manager. this is a really sad, frustrating thread to reckoning. Unless I missed it, no one has bothered to remark upon the various features of Task Manager. For example, let's consider the analogy of someone gone missing. You see, JoeSchmoe has been stuffed mostly into the 'trunk' of my vehicle. JaneDoe has been told that JoeSchmoe will be found in my vehicle, but when she peers inside cabin, the subject is nowhere to be found! But alas-- indeed, he is there, is he not? Had she opened the trunk, she could have laid claim to finding him there, as told. Now that I've got your attention, has the Enquiring User surveyed the various tabs of Windows Task Manager, to confirm that a sign of his/her elusive bin is indeed not present? My personal preference is to click the Applications tab, and set that view to 'Large Icons', subsequently dragging the size of the WTM window, leaving it broad and tall (e.g. the TaskManager is more friendly to me when resized to about a 1024x768-sized window, under a 1280 res). Under this configuration, when I click the 'Processes' tab, it is quite obvious to me that I am no longer viewing the current Applications, since I see no obnoxiously large icons, but only a long list of running processes, many unfamiliar names which would make for an excellent list of vocabulary words for the novices here.
