Guest naush Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 Bought this labtop from an aution, brand as Lemel made in Taiwan. At the back it has these info WHQL model MS-1057B and it uses the Intel 945GM Express chipset Family. I did not copy all the drivers before I reformat. After the reformat and installation of Xp Home and activated etc, the device manager shows missing drivers for Mass storage controller and PCI device 98which I think its the dial up modem). Any idea what this mass storage controller is? Thanks for your assistance

This has nothing to do with Windows XP except that the drivers must support Windows XP. Malke -- MS-MVP Elephant Boy Computers http://www.elephantboycomputers.com Don't Panic!
